  • Beskrivelse: The young English tourist Annabel (Ann Lonnberg), who spends her holidays at a seaside village in Greece, meets a poor shepherd (Giannis Voglis) who uses gestures to make her understand that there is no reason for her to be afraid of him. He offers her some almonds, but she runs away, and the shepherd runs after her. The authorities, thinking that he has raped her, arrest him and put him to jail. Annabel in vain tries to persuade the policeman and the woman who has been called to translate that nothing happened. When finally he is released, the young woman has already left and gone to Athens. He finds her, and they spend a wonderful night together, but Annabel must return to her country, and this sincere and innocent love has no future.
